Loudon County School Board meetings have become a national event.
The Virginia school board’s latest meeting included arguments about critical race theory and transgender issues as conservative parents pushed back against the school district’s liberal policies.
One student was recently separated from class following speaking out against a transgender themed lesson. A second controversy involved a teacher who was suspended for speaking out against the school’s new transgender policy.
A total of 259 people signed up to make public comments. Only 51 were able to speak.
But some grew a little too angry during the meeting.
According to Fox News, “At least two people were arrested as parents cut off from speaking before the board remained in the room to deliver their prepared remarks to others in the crowd. One of them refused to leave until everyone had an opportunity to speak, and deputies told him that he would be arrested for trespassing if he refused to follow their orders to vacate the room.”
But not everything ended badly. Many in the audience sang the National Anthem as they left the meeting.
Mainstream outlets will unlikely play the video, but a new Rumble video reveals the patriotism following the hotly debated meeting. Check it out!
