[Video] Criminals Deploy Deadly New Tactic On Unsuspecting Victim

In Savannah, Georgia, a 66-year-old pub owner fell victim to a brutal and calculated attack on the morning of January 11, as two men, disguised as Amazon delivery employees, assaulted him with what authorities described as a sledgehammer-like weapon. According to police and local reports, the assailants donned the familiar blue jackets bearing Amazon’s logo and carried a cardboard box to complete their ruse.

Security footage shared by the Savannah Police Department reveals the chilling scene. The suspects, masked and carrying their fake delivery props, approached the man’s home on Price Street around 8 a.m. Moments later, the quiet morning was shattered by the sounds of the victim crying out for help as the attackers struck him repeatedly for nearly eight minutes.

Neighbors rushed to his aid, finding him bleeding from multiple head wounds. The man received 14 stitches and is now recovering from what can only be described as a heinous and cowardly act. The attackers fled the scene, stealing a mere $80 before vanishing.

Amazon quickly distanced itself from the crime. In a statement to Fox News Digital, a company spokesperson confirmed that the perpetrators were not affiliated with the company. They emphasized that Amazon actively monitors for unauthorized use of its branded apparel and takes steps to remove such items when found. The company also clarified that legitimate Amazon deliveries rarely involve knocking on doors or requiring signatures, unless explicitly arranged.

The Savannah Police Department is actively pursuing leads to identify and apprehend the suspects. “Contact SPD if you happened to see two people dressed as Amazon workers in the area around the time of the incident,” the department urged in a Facebook statement. Citizens are encouraged to report tips anonymously through CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020 or the SPD mobile app.

This disturbing case serves as a grim reminder of the lengths some criminals will go to exploit trust and familiarity for their vile purposes. While Democrats push soft-on-crime policies and pretend crime isn’t skyrocketing in America’s cities, these real-life stories tell a different tale. Law-abiding citizens deserve better—swift justice, tougher penalties, and a system that prioritizes their safety over catering to criminals.
