After Terrible Debate, Biden Releases An Even Worse Video

Just four days have passed since Joe Biden’s horrible debate performance, and already the White House is struggling to recover. I really haven’t seen anything like this before. There have been presidents with health issues before the internet, but there’s no going back. Persuading the American people that Biden will continue to mature and handle himself properly for the next four years is quite difficult, given their awareness of this.

What, then, is the game plan? The president’s advisors released a teaser of the plan on Sunday, sharing a jumbled clip of Joe Biden stammering through a brief teleprompter read. Speaking of “democracy,” the White House appears to be staking its future on the same talking points that led it to its current precipice. I suppose that’s a tactic.

That 38-second video included nine cuts if I counted correctly, and in several parts, Biden had trouble finishing his sentences. There it is—the watery eyes, the stiff presentation, the hoarse voice. That same person completely destroyed his campaign in front of a sizable portion of the nation on Thursday night. Any assertion that Biden appears and sounds more presentable in a more controlled setting early in the day is merely fabrication.

It would have been appropriate for Biden’s communications team to take a vacation and let the situation somewhat calm down at this point. Rather, his handlers marched him back out to repeat the same old, boring message that hadn’t struck a chord in years, looking and sounding almost exactly the same.

The issues they are concerned about also affect Americans. Government spending, border security, and the economy are the primary drivers of inflation. The worst conceivable course of action for Biden would be to keep hammering home his nebulous comments about “defending democracy” against the evil orange man. It’s irrelevant, dishonest, and lacking in tone. Now, polls constantly demonstrate that, at least when it comes to the current president, Americans do not consider Donald Trump to be a “danger to democracy” on a level that goes beyond partisanship.

In the video, there are five alarms. There is nothing left in this White House. There isn’t a well-laid plot that will lead to triumph. Biden’s handlers, including his wife who abuses the elderly, have nowhere else to turn. Until election day, there will be loud noises about “democracy” and poorly manipulated videos.
