Biden’s ATF Nominee Wants to Ban AR-15 Rifles

President Joe Biden’s ATF nominee said he wants to ban AR-15 rifles in a heated conversation with Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz.

Cruz asked Biden nominee David Chipman, “Senator Whitehouse asked you if any of your views are out of step with the majority of the American people. The AR-15 is one of, if not the most popular rifle in America.

“It’s not a machine gun. It’s a rifle.

“Your public position is that you want to ban AR-15’s, is that correct?”

Chipman answered “with respect to the AR-15, I support a ban as has been presented in a Senate bill and supported by the president.”

The Biden nominee added, “The AR-15 is a gun I was issued on the ATF SWAT team and it’s a particularly lethal weapon and regulating it as other particularly lethal weapons I have advocated for as ATF director, if I’m confirmed, I would simply enforce the laws on the books and right now there is no such a ban on those guns.”

In other words, Chipman advocates against AR-15 rifles, but can only enforce existing laws.

Good thing Chipman isn’t in charge of deciding which firearms Americans can own.

There’s a little thing called the Second Amendment that appears to oppose his very words.

Watch it yourself and decide how much more of the Biden administration’s agenda you want to continue supporting.

A new administration in 2024, along with a conservative return to power in the House and Senate as early as 2022, could not come soon enough.
