Chicago Shoplifters Filmed Walking Free

One bystander captured two shoplifters in a Chicago Ulta store that offers a clear example of the brazen crime spree taking place in a city that supports “defunding the police.”

While many weekly headlines note the number shootings and homicides in the Windy City, there is much more crime taking place than many Americans realize. These two shoplifters felt safe enough to rob a high end makeup store in the middle of day.

No police were nearby and they walked out like Santa at Christmastime. Except these two guys should have been on the naughty list and picked up by the Chicago police.

Worse, they’re not alone. The video shows other examples of casual theft as well. While it’s disheartening to see Americans steal and do wrong, it’s worse when there’s no one to stop it.

It’s not just men, either. One of the videos showed a group of four women stealing items from a store in a coordinated effort.

Why does this keep happening — and where? The why is clear. People do wrong when no one stops them. But the where is also important. Crime is spiking the most in cities led by Democratic leaders, especially in cities where defunding the police is a focus.

There are consequences when this happen, as this video clearly shows. Watch it and see why backing the blue matters today more than ever.
