DeSantis Attack Ad Backfires and Conservatives Love It!

A political attack ad on Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis has backfired and conservatives — and many others — now love the freedom-fighting governor even more.

Michael Knowles tells the story and shows the ad with reactions. The ad begins with an air flight attendant announcing they are now entering Florida skies.

There will be no vaccine passports as they trust people to make their own decisions. No restrictions. No mandates or lockdowns, since it’s against the law for private businesses or schools to mandate masks or vaccines.

Actually doesn’t sound too bad, does it? Knowles joked he would be surprised in DeSantis secretly funded the ad himself. It actually makes him look better as it highlights exactly what the Florida governor is all about.

But on the flip side, can you believe a Democrat would take the approach that people making their own decisions is a bad thing? Seems that is now the case.

Of course, if you change the topic and switch to abortion, Democrats freak out. Of course a woman should be able to make her own choices. Gender? You pick. Orientation. Personal choice.

But freedom regarding the coronavirus? That’s just too far. Why? Apparently because you might have to agree with Republicans — or at least the real conservatives who agree people should be given freedom and the government is the side that should be limited.
