NASCAR Bans ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Car

NASCAR has banned Brandon Brown from using LGBcoin as the sponsor of his car despite previously agreeing to the sponsorship.

After admitting the “Let’s Go Brandon” movement had made securing sponsorships difficult for the driver, Brown was offered a primary sponsorship by LGBcoin, the “Let’s Go Brandon” cryptocurrency.

The deal was initially approved, but political pushback led NASCAR to abruptly end the deal, citing its political message.

The move reveals both the racing league’s inadequate handling of the deal and concerns over Brown’s racing future.

If the “Let’s Go Brandon” crypto company can’t sponsor Brown’s car, who will? Woke corporations are fleeing his side despite the viral meme having nothing to do with his own politics or choices.

Now the driver is being forced to secure new sponsors yet again, making life difficult for a guy who just wants to race his car.

What kind of double standard? Bubba Smith could have BLM messages but LGB doesn’t count? Interesting how that works.

The David Hookstead clip points out some of the other double standards concerns with NASCAR’s handling of the situation as well, with issues that could cause more problems for the largely conservative fan base of the racing league.
